Elizabeth Hedge Papers (1742)

Elizabeth Hedge was born in Duxbury, MA.  In 1742 she was placed in the household of  Thomas Andrews of Hingham as an indentured servant by her mother, also named Elizabeth Hedge.  Her term was 14 years after which time she was to receive two dresses, one suitable for the Lord’s Day.

In 1757 Elizabeth Hedge married William Rust in Hingham, MA.
