Scope and Content: The collection consists of one autograph book filled with poems and letters addressed to Louisa D. Thomas and signed by her friends.

Biographical Information: Louisa D. Thomas Weston (1816-1894) was born in Boston, MA. There is some confusion regarding her family.  Her parents were Jacob and Elizabeth Beck, however she is also listed as a Drew.  She lived in Duxbury, MA for most of her life. She married twice, her first husband was Nathaniel Thomas; her second was Bradford Weston.
